This tour operates Wednesdays through Sundays, in line with the Apartheid Museum’s opening days. Pick-up from your hotel or address in Johannesburg between 07:30–09:30. Begin at FNB Soccer Stadium for a brief history overview, then drive through Baragwanath Hospital and Diepkloof to Motsoaledi. Walk past street cafés and craft markets to meet residents at a local community centre. Continue through Orlando West to Freedom Square, Regina Mundi Church (optional), and Hector Pieterson Museum. Stroll along Vilakazi Street past Mandela and Tutu homes, with optional visit to the Nelson Mandela Museum (own cost). Enjoy a traditional “shisa nyama” lunch at Soweto Towers base, with optional bungee jumping. After lunch, transfer to the Apartheid Museum for a guided overview and free exploration before returning to your Johannesburg hotel by late afternoon.
