Explore the wild heart of Namibia on an unforgettable 2-Day Etosha Safari from Windhoek – Lions, Elephants & More, operated by Knap Tours. This short safari takes you into Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. You will see vast salt pans, open plains, and active waterholes that attract large numbers of animals.
Your journey starts in Windhoek. You travel in comfortable safari transport with an experienced local guide. As you leave the city, the scenery changes quickly. Wide open landscapes replace urban surroundings. Along the way, your guide shares useful insights about wildlife and Namibia’s natural environment.
Once you arrive in Etosha, you begin your first game drive. The park offers excellent chances to see lions, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and antelope. In addition, waterholes attract animals throughout the day. This creates great opportunities for photography and close wildlife viewing.
Each game drive feels different. You may see elephants gathering at water, or predators moving through open grasslands. Sometimes rhinos appear near the salt pan areas. Because of this variety, every moment in the park feels exciting.
After a full day of exploration, you return to your lodge or camp near the park. You enjoy dinner and relax in a peaceful setting. The sounds of the African night create a calm and memorable atmosphere.
On day two, you start with an early morning game drive. Wildlife is most active at this time. You get another chance to see lions, elephants, and other animals in soft morning light. After the drive, you begin your return journey to Windhoek.
Overall, this 2-day Etosha safari offers a simple but powerful wildlife experience. It combines expert guiding, scenic landscapes, and close animal encounters. It is perfect for travellers who want a short but meaningful safari in Namibia.
We pick you up in the morning from your hotel or lodge in Windhoek and transfer you north to Etosha National Park. After a scenic drive, we arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by check-in and a short rest. In the late afternoon, set off on an exciting sunset game drive inside Etosha, searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, and other iconic species. Return to camp for dinner under the stars and a relaxing night in the wild.
Wake up early for a morning safari drive through Etosha’s vast landscapes, when animals are most active. Look out for rhinos, zebras, and predators around the waterholes. After the drive, return to camp for a hearty breakfast before checking out. We then begin the journey back to Windhoek, arriving in the late afternoon, with drop-off at your hotel or lodge.
